Workflow Description:

The process begins when wet material (sand) is transported via a belt conveyor or bucket elevator to a storage hopper. From the hopper, a disc feeder regulates the flow onto a conveyor belt, which directs the material into the feed pipe of the dryer. The feed pipe is inclined at an angle greater than the material's natural angle of repose to ensure smooth entry into the drying drum.

Our energy-efficient dryer features a triple-pass drum design with an innovative embedded structure. This configuration, comprising an inner, middle, and outer cylinder, creates a self-insulating assembly for enhanced thermal efficiency. The drum itself is a rotating cylinder slightly inclined from the horizontal. Material is fed in at the higher end, and the heating medium (hot air) enters concurrently with the material.

Inside the dryer, the material travels through the three concentric cylinders—passing through the inner, middle, and outer sections—before reaching the discharge outlet into a collection bin. As the drum rotates, the wet sand is continuously lifted and cascaded, ensuring thorough exposure to the hot air stream. The hot air flows through the drum, evaporating moisture from the sand.

After passing through the dryer, the exhaust gas, which carries fine particles, typically enters a cyclone collector to capture the bulk of the entrained material. If further reduction of dust content in the tail gas is required, the air can be treated additionally by a bag filter or wet scrubber before being released.

Finally, the dried material is discharged and passed through a linear vibrating screen to separate and grade the final product, ensuring that only qualified, properly dried sand is obtained.
